Simple tips to take precautions: • More Play Means More Sleep - If you have a growing puppy or an energetic adult, play a little extra during the day so your pooch sleeps during the evening when crackers are on full throttle. Use interactive toys to make sure your pooch plays more, enjoys more and sleeps more to avoid all the clatter. • Take dogs for a walk during the daytime before the celebrations begin. Never walk them near where others are lighting firecrackers. • Store fireworks safely in a closed box, somewhere cool and dry, and out of reach of pets. Night stealing on World Animal Day at Hiyaa’s (clinic & surgical centre for pets)!
It’s sad that a burglary happened today morning at Hiyaa’s Vet Clinic, Ghoramara Chariali. A staff, on reaching the clinic this morning found out that some cash was missing and the ceiling was damaged. The stealing couldn’t be caught on the camera because the thief as soon as jumped from the ceiling cleverly switched off the CCTV. But the face could be seen only from a distant from the CCTV footage. They took some money and material things from the clinic. The thieves also broke some of the clinic's property while stealing. They left the room by joining one table and one chair to climb the hole. Dr Smriti Rekha Dutta, lead veterinarian of Hiyaas Vet Clinic and Programme Director of JBF(INDIA)TRUST, attended Hands on training program on “National Symposium On Canine & Feline Opthalmology” held on 17th and 18th August, 2018. The program was organized by Veterinary Orthopedic Foundation in collaboration with Department of Veterinary Surgery & Radiology and was held at KNP college of Veterinary science, Shirwal. It was a great pleasure to be part of this program. Thanks to Dr. Ron Ofri from Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel and Dr. David Maggs Professor, Opthalmology from University of California Davis for conducting the workshop.
